The Layman and His Bible
Spiritualism
The aim of this study is to contrast
with the last study on the Ministry of Angels,
and to demonstrate the enemy powers of evil.
Throughout the study passages below, you will
notice words highlighted in lilac,
or bold or Italic.
When the text is LILAC move your mouse
over the word or words for a detailed description of what to do
with the text in your Bibles.
Some of the passages are written in red text.
These red text passages are
the words of Jesus.
Please open your Bible. Read and mark the passages
accordingly as you study God's Word.
The page Titles are the subject topics. For example "The
Scriptures" is the topic of lesson one.
Write out a reference sheet to the topical verses and keep it with
your Bible for future reference.
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness,
revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before,
as I have also told you in
time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit
the kingdom of God.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit
of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is
come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that
confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is
not of God: and this is that spirit
of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should
come; and even now already is it in the world.
Isaiah 8:19, 20
19 And when they shall
say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits,
and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not
a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
23Then if any man shall say unto you,
Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24For there shall arise false Christs,
and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders;
insomuch that, if it were
possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
