THE SEARCHER

I am a lonesome man,
And I’m looking for the Lord,
Oh I want to praise His name now,
And search on through His word.

I have so many things,
That I must give away,
To be closer to the Father,
That’s where I want to stay.

I need the prayers of many,
The strength of God at heart,
Please pray for me this very day,
That I may make a start.

Help me through life’s trials,
Please grant me this and then,
I can thank our God the Father,
And praise His name, Amen.
