2 medium onions, finely chopped
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
½ t turmeric
1 T olive oil
½ c water
¼ t salt
1 T tomato paste dash of cayenne pepper
Method:
- In a medium saucepan, fry onion and
garlic in the oil till golden brown, stirring continually.
- Add tomato paste, turmeric, salt and
fry for a minute longer.
- Add water. Cook for 2-3 mins.
- Serve with Falafels or patties etc.
