Bible Baptism

The aim of this study is to reveal the only form of Bible baptism and
to encourage the student to be baptized.

Throughout the study passages below, you will notice words highlighted in lilac, or bold or Italic.
When the text is LILAC move your mouse over the word or words for a detailed description of what to do with the text in your Bibles.

Some of the passages are written in red text. These red text passages are the words of Jesus.

Please open your Bible. Read and mark the passages accordingly as you study God's Word.
The page Titles are the subject topics. For example "The Scriptures" is the topic of lesson one.

Ephesians 4:4-6

4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Matthew 28:19

19 Go ye therefore, and teach nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

1 John 5:8

8 And there are three that bear in earth, the Spirit, and and the blood: and these three agree in one.

John 3:5

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

John 3:23

23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, and they came, and were baptized.

Matthew 3:13-17

13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.

14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Acts 8:36-39

36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

39 And when the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

Romans 6:3-6

3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into

4 Therefore we are by baptism into death: that like as Christ was from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin

Acts 22:16

16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and calling on the name of the Lord.

Matthew 28:19, 20

19 Go ye therefore, and all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Mark 16:16

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that not shall be damned.

Acts 2:38

38 Then Peter said unto them, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 6:11-13

11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

1 Corinthians 12:13

13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Ephesians 4:15, 16

15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is

16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

1 Peter 2:21

21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us that ye should follow his steps:

Acts 19:1-5

1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,

2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

*Any form of baptism other than immersion is not baptism.
God wants you to be baptised with the real meaning of both you and Him.
