for the body
is as important as care for the soul.

or bold or Italic.
When the text is LILAC move your mouse
over the word or words for a detailed description of what to do
with the text in your Bibles.

The page Titles are the subject topics. For example "The
Scriptures" is the topic of lesson one.

4 Nevertheless these
shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them
that divide the hoof: as
the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not
the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
5 And the coney,
because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof;
he is unclean unto you.
6 And the hare, because
he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he
is unclean unto you.
7 And the swine, though
he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth
not the cud; he is unclean
to you.
8 Of their flesh shall
ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they
are unclean to you.
9 These shall ye eat of
all that are in the waters:
whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the
seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
11 They shall be even
an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their
flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
12 Whatsoever hath no
fins nor scales in the waters, that
shall be an abomination
unto you.
13 And these
are they which ye shall
have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be
eaten, they are an
abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the
ospray,
14 And the vulture, and
the kite after his kind;
15 Every raven after
his kind;
16 And the owl, and the
night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,
17 And the little owl,
and the cormorant, and the great owl,
18 And the swan, and
the pelican, and the gier eagle,
19 And the stork, the
heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
20 All fowls that
creep, going upon all four,
shall be an abomination
unto you.
21 Yet these may ye eat
of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon
all four, which have legs
above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;
22Even these of them ye may
eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust
after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the
grasshopper after his kind.
23 But all
other flying creeping
things, which have four feet,
shall be an abomination unto you.
24 And for these ye
shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcase of them
shall be unclean until the even.
25 And whosoever
beareth ought of the
carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean
until the even.
26The carcases of every beast
which divideth the hoof, and is
not clovenfooted, nor cheweth the cud,
are unclean unto you: every
one that toucheth them shall be unclean.
27 And whatsoever goeth
upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on
all four, those
are unclean unto you: whoso
toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even.
28 And he that beareth
the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be
unclean until the even: they are
unclean unto you.
29 These also
shall be unclean unto you
among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the
weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,
30 And the ferret, and
the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the
mole.
1 There was a certain
man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the
band called the Italian band,
2
A devout man, and
one that feared God with all his house, which gave much
alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.
3 He saw in a vision
evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of
God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.
4 And when he looked on
him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he
said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up
for a memorial before God.
5 And now send men to
Joppa, and call for one
Simon, whose surname is Peter:
6 He lodgeth with one
Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall
tell thee what thou oughtest to do.
7 And when the angel
which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two
of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them
that waited on him continually;
8 And when he had
declared all these things
unto them, he sent them to Joppa.
9 On the morrow, as
they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city,
Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth
hour:
10 And he became very
hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready,
he fell into a trance,
11 And saw heaven
opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it
had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let
down to the earth:
12 Wherein were all
manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild
beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
13 And there came a
voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
14 But Peter
said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing
that is common or unclean.
15 And the voice
spake unto him again the
second time, What God hath cleansed,
that call not thou common.
16 This was done
thrice: and the vessel was received up again into
heaven.
18 And called, and
asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were
lodged there.
19 While Peter thought
on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three
men seek thee.
20 Arise therefore, and
get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I
have sent them.
21 Then Peter went down
to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and
said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what
is the cause wherefore ye
are come?
22 And they said,
Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that
feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of
the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send
for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.
23 Then called he them
in, and lodged them. And on
the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain
brethren from Joppa accompanied him.
24 And the morrow after
they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for
them, and had called together his kinsmen and near
friends.
25 And as Peter was
coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet,
and worshipped him.
26 But Peter took him
up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.
27 And as he talked
with him, he went in, and found many that were come
together.
27 Now these
are the generations of
Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran
begat Lot.
28 And Haran died
before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in
Ur of the Chaldees.
29 And Abram and Nahor
took them wives: the name of Abram's wife
was Sarai; and the name of
Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father
of Milcah, and the father of Iscah.
30 But Sarai was
barren; she had no child.
31 And Terah took Abram
his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son, and
Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and
they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go
into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and
dwelt there.
32 And the days of
Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in
Haran.

Galatians 6:7, 8
7 Be not deceived; God
is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall
he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to
his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he
that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life
everlasting.
**Galatians 6:6, 7 - this is a law of life -
"What we sow, we reap."
